Brazilian UFC fighter Edson Barboza, who competes in the featherweight division, is set to fight American Steve Garcia on February 23 at UFC Fight Night 252.
Barboza’s last fight was against Lerone Murphy in May of this year at UFC Fight Night 241. In that match, which went the entire distance, Edson lost by unanimous decision. His current record stands at 24 wins and 12 losses.
Garcia last stepped into the octagon against Kyle Nelson in September at UFC Fight Night 242. This fight, which was stopped in the first round, ended in Garcia’s favor by technical knockout. He has a record of 17 wins and five losses.
