Former Bellator heavyweight champion Ryan Bader has expressed his desire to face former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier in his next fight.
Why don’t you just go do it in the UFC? You know? Unless they’re throwing around crazy money in GFL. And GFL actually happens, but yeah, I’m open to stuff like that. That’s a fun fight. That’s one of those ones that kind of fell through the cracks and never got to happen. So those are the kind of ones that I’m looking for. For sure.

Bader's latest fight was against Renan Ferreira in February 2024 at the "PFL vs. Bellator" event. Ryan suffered a technical knockout loss in the first round of that fight. His overall record stands at 31 wins and eight losses, with one fight ruled as a no-contest.
Cormier last stepped into the octagon against Stipe Miocic in August 2020 at UFC 252. That fight also went the full distance and ended in a unanimous decision loss for Daniel. He has a total of 22 victories and three defeats, with another fight considered a no-contest.
