Aspinall Completes Negotiations for Unification Fight with Jones

Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall announced that he has finalized negotiations for a bout with current heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

I’ve said yes to the fight, just waiting for his side now, and the UFC to sort it out, I should imagine I’m gonna find out in the next couple of weeks.

Aspinall last fought in July 2024 at UFC 304, knocking out Curtis Blaydes in the first round. He boasts a record of 15 wins and 3 losses.

Jones last entered the octagon in November 2024 at UFC 309, defeating Stipe Miocic by technical knockout in the third round. His record stands at 28 wins, 1 loss, and 1 no contest.
