Former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Magomed Ankalaev made a statement about his fight with Jan Blachowicz at UFC 282, which ended in a draw.
It's hard to describe the feelings I have these days. Together with my team, we've been walking toward this goal for years. I guess it's my way of life - nothing comes easy to me, but I always know where I am going and why I am going there. I know and believe that there is good in everything, and this is no exception. I won't look for someone to blame, I will prove my worth with my deeds and do whatever it takes to win this belt without letting the judges decide.

"I get a lot of calls, messages of support and I want to say thank you to everyone who supports me and cares! The recognition of your hearts is much more important to me than what is written on paper. The goal has no expiration date, and we will definitely come back better and stronger," said the fighter.
Ankalaev had his previous fight in July, 2022, at UFC 277, defeating Anthony Smith by TKO in the second round. Magomed, 30, has 17 wins and one defeat under his belt.
