Brendan Allen, ranked eighth in the UFC's middleweight division, made harsh remarks regarding French officials, accusing them of corruption and bias.

Allen stated, as reported by MMA Mania:

France has the most corrupt way of dealing with fighters, ever, in the whole world. They’re gonna tell me I have to give blood. First they said urine — right off the scale. Dehydrated ... waited three hours, finally have to pee, then they tell me I have to give blood on top of that. The two Frenchman didn’t get to have anything. They just get to go to their room [to] sleep, eat, chill, do everything they wanna do ... I was downstairs at 8:30, made weight last night, easy.

It's worth noting that on the night of September 29, Allen will compete against Nassourdine Imavov.

Allen last stepped into the octagon in April 2024 against Chris Curtis at UFC Fight Night 240. That fight went the distance and resulted in a split decision victory for Brendan. His professional record now stands at 24 wins and five losses.

Imavov last fought in June 2024 at UFC on ESPN 57, where he secured a technical knockout victory over Jared Cannonier in the fourth round. His record is now 14 wins and four losses, with one fight declared a no contest.
