Famous sports manager Ali Abdelaziz harshly commented on the referee's board serving the past tournament UFC 282, which was held on December 11 in Las Vegas.

It's the lamest decision. How could Paddy Pimblett win this fight? It's insane! These two referees should be arrested. These guys are ruining the sport. If anyone thinks Jared Gordon lost the fight, the judges should be arrested. I'm going to ask each commission from now on not to appoint Douglas Crosby as a judge. I would like to get the support of all the promotions for that purpose. These guys are ruining people's lives and ruining the sport. Enough is enough, we have to stick together.

Let's recall that two main fights of UFC 282, which took place on December 11, left a huge amount of controversy. In the co-main event, Paddy Pimblett of Great Britain won by unanimous decision over Jared Gordon of the United States. A vast majority of MMA fans and fighters think that the referee should have raised Gordon's hand in this fight.

A similar situation occurred in the main event: Magomed Ankalaev and Jan Blachowicz were unable to identify a new light heavyweight champion, as the judges considered the fight a draw. However, even Blachowicz noted that the Russian should have won.

Pimblett went to the octagon against American Jordan Leavitt at UFC Fight Night 208 in July of this year. In that fight Paddy won by submission in the second round.

Ankalaev had previously been in the Octagon against American Anthony Smith at UFC 277. The fight was stopped in the second round and Magomed won it by TKO. He has 17 wins and one loss on his record. Blachowicz has 29 wins and nine defeats on his record.
