UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya commented on the announcement of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou's move to the PFL.
He’s asking for reasonable demands, and I felt like he should have got them. But again, yeah, what [the UFC] said was, ‘That’s not how we do business.’ But, the way we do business has to change, and it will change. He’s just the guy to kick in the door.

Ngannou defeated Ciryl Gane by decision at UFC 270 in January 2022 to win the championship belt. In January of this year, Francis left the title vacant and left the UFC as a free agent. Earlier it became known that Ngannou had signed a contract with the PFL. He has 17 wins and three losses under his belt.
Adesanya last entered the Octagon against Alex Pereira in April of this year at UFC 287. That fight ended in favor of Israel by knockout in the second round. He has 24 wins and two losses under his belt.
