The Minnesota Timberwolves managed to acquire Patrick Beverley from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Jarrett Culver and Juancho Hernangomez. Earlier, Beverley, who played for the Clippers last season, got traded for Bledsoe and ended up in the Grizzlies but just after a few days, Timberwolves made their move.
Minnesota hasn’t enjoyed a lot of success in the last couple of decades and the Pat Beverley move may not make them any sort of contenders for the championship but he can serve as mentor for young players like D’Angelo Russell. Beverley didn’t play a ton of minutes last season as he struggled with multiple injuries.
