Swedish player and Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga submitted a complaint about facing a racist comment by the opponent during the Sweden-Italy Under 21 match. After receiving Elanga’s complaint, Sweden filed an oral report to the match referee and also a delegate. The game between Italy and Sweden ended up in a one-one draw.
No one should have to be exposed to racism, it is completely unacceptable. We all stand behind and support Anthony in this.
