Assistant general manager of the National Hockey League (NHL) club Florida Panthers Brett Peterson was appointed general manager of the U.S. men's national hockey team, as announced by the press service of the "panthers".

It is reported that the 42-year-old functionary will work with the American team at the upcoming World Championship 2024, which will be held in Prague and Ostrava from May 10 to 26.
