Olympic hockey champion with the Czech national team, Jaromir Jagr, scored a goal for his club Kladno in a playoff match in the Czech Extraliga. The 52-year-old forward opened the scoring in the second game of the series against Vsetin (1-0), earning the right to play in the top division of the Czech championship next season.
In addition to his goal, Jagr set a record as the oldest hockey player to compete in professional leagues. At 52 years and 63 days old, he surpassed Gordie Howe's achievement, who played his final career game at 52 years and 11 days.
Earlier, Jagr mentioned that he is never satisfied with himself, which adds to his motivation.
