Great Britain took care of business against South Africa as they beat them 3-1 in their first match of the Olympics. South Africa fought hard all game but Great Britain’s experience and talent was too much for them.
Waller, Ansell, and Ward each scored one goal for the British team, while for South Africans, Guise-Brown scored the lone goal. South Africans had tied the game at 1-1 during the 13 minute but Ansell’s strike at the 32 minute mark gave Great Britain a lead.
