A late strike by Araujo shattered Granada’s bid to claim a win as the game ended up in a one-one tie. It didn’t take long for Granada to put a dent in the Barcelona defense with Domingos Duarte nailing a header from six yards; Sergio Escudero who performed a cross in a corner situation passed the ball to Domingos. Only two minutes had elapsed when Granada took the lead.
Granada held the lead for the next eighty-eight minutes and it looked like the team will escape with a win but Ronaldo Araujo had other plans. Gavi gave a pass to Araujo and he nailed a header from the close range to tie the game. Barcelona controlled the possession a whopping 77% of the time, had six shots on target compared to Granada’s two.
