Former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has commented on rumors of his possible appointment as the head coach of Bayern Munich.
According to reports, the Frenchman could replace Thomas Tuchel as the manager of the Bavarian club after the current season. Real Madrid will face Bayern in the Champions League semi-finals.
Bayern & Germany quotes Zidane as saying:
Coaching Bayern in the future? No. I'm going to watch the game, hopefully Real Madrid will win. But it will be a difficult game.
Earlier, L'Equipe reported that Zidane declined to hold talks with Bayern. There was also information that Zinedine would prefer to take over Manchester United instead of the German powerhouse.
