Sixteen-year-old forward for Barcelona and the Spanish national team Lamine Yamal named the club he would never play for. The forward stated that a transfer to Real Madrid is out of the question for him.
Marca quotes Yamal as saying:
Am I one of those who say: "I will never play for Real Madrid?" Yes.
Last season, the Spanish player played 51 games for the Catalan club in all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing ten assists. His contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2026. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is 90 million euros.
At Euro 2024, Yamal represented Spain and made two assists in four tournament matches, becoming the youngest assistant in the tournament's history.
