Spanish national football team forward Lamine Yamal shared a photo on his social media page, listing the achievements of winning Euro 2024 alongside receiving mandatory secondary education.
The winger, who plays for Barcelona outside the national team, became the youngest player ever to appear in a Euro or World Cup final at the age of 17 years and one day. Yamal played in all seven matches of the latest European Championship, scoring one goal and providing four assists. Following the tournament, the forward was recognized as the best young player of Euro.
Under the guidance of Luis de la Fuente, la Furia Roja became the champions of Europe, defeating the England national team 2-1 in the final. Yamal played the full 90 minutes and assisted Nico Williams during the match.
