According to the Barca Reservat program on Catalunya Radio, Barcelona's head coach Xavi will be offered a new position within the club's structure after stepping down from his current role.
Xavi took charge of Barcelona in the fall of 2021, winning the league in '22/'23 along with the Super Cup of the country. A few months ago, the coach announced his decision to leave his position at the end of the current season.
Based on information from a source, Barcelona's president Joan Laporta hopes to maintain a connection with Xavi and is prepared to offer him a role as an ambassador for the Barcelona Foundation along with Alex Roca.
Former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta and the club's sports director Deco have previously commented on Xavi's decision to leave the team.
