The German Football Association (DFB) has suspended the head coach of Union Berlin Nenad Bjelica for three matches for an incident in the 13th round (0:1) of the Bundesliga against Bayern.

After an argument in the 74th minute, the Croatian coach hit Bayern midfielder Leroy Sane in the face. The conflict began when Sane ran up to the specialist to take the ball and put it back into play, but the latter threw the ball aside. As a result of the conflict, Bjelica received a red card and Sane received a yellow card.

In addition to a three-match suspension, the Union coach received a monetary fine of €25,000.
