The President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Aleksander Čeferin has acknowledged the format of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as unsuccessful.
For the first time in history, the World Cup was held in fall and winter instead of summer - from November 21 to December 18.
Holding the World Cup in winter has not been good for football, and it would be unwise to consider repeating it, as it puts a strain on the schedule of competitions and national leagues.

The next World Cup will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico in June and July 2026.
In June this year, Apple announced a documentary TV series about Argentina and Lionel Messi winning the 2022 World Cup.
