According to The Objective, the President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), Aleksander Ceferin, insulted Real Madrid president Florentino Perez in a private conversation.
The derogatory remarks aimed at los Blancos owner reportedly occurred in December 2019, based on published information with text and audio messages. Ceferin publicly criticized Perez's proposal to create a European Super League featuring the best clubs. After that, former head of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Luis Rubiales contacted the UEFA president.
According to the conversation, Perez, Rubiales, as well as then-president of Barcelona Josep Bartomeu were looking for a replacement for Javier Tebas, who headed La Liga, but Perez eventually changed his mind.
I don't want to speak with him. I would do it only because of you. He's (Florentino) an idiot and a racist! Don't calm the situation down for me - I don't need it. I need you to stay strong.
Aleksander Ceferin
Earlier, journalist Jose Felix Dias said on May 23 on his social media page that Real Madrid cannot officially announce the transfer of French forward Kylian Mbappe due to PSG's ban.
