According to the source, the English club believes that Mbappe may be unsettled by the reduced salary being offered by Real Madrid. The Frenchman was willing to make concessions to the Madrid club, but the proposed terms imply a significant pay cut, which could affect the course of negotiations.
The 25-year-old forward has been playing for PSG since July 2018 after transferring from Monaco. The player has scored 244 goals and provided 105 assists in 291 matches. Mbappe's agreement with PSG is set to run until June 2024. The Transfermarkt website estimates the player's market value at 180 million euros.
