German midfielder Thomas Müller will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the 2024/25 season, as per his announcement on his social media channels.
The club made a conscious decision not to negotiate a new contract with me for next season. Even if this was not in line with my personal wishes, it is important that the club follows its convictions. I respect this step.

At 35 years old, Müller is a product of Bayern's football academy. He has been playing for the first team since 2007. During his time with Bayern, Müller has won the Bundesliga 12 times, the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) 6 times, and the DFL-Supercup (German Supercup) 8 times. He has also claimed victory in the UEFA Champions League twice and in the Club World Cup. Over his career with Bayern, Müller has played 743 matches, scored 247 goals, and provided 273 assists.
