Belgian former footballer from Manchester City and current coach of Burnley Vincent Kompany will lead Bayern Munich next season, as reported by The Telegraph.
According to sources, the management of the Munich club has reached an agreement with the Belgian specialist. Bayern is pleased with Kompany's experience working with Josep Guardiola at Manchester City.
Since 2022, Kompany has been coaching Burnley, where he failed to avoid relegation from the English Premier League this season. His contract with the club runs until 2028. Prior to coaching in England, he trained Anderlecht.
It's worth noting that last week, German coach Thomas Tuchel announced his departure as head coach of Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
Earlier, sports insider Fabrizio Romano reported on the invitation of Vincent Kompany.
