Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has commented on the performance of goalkeeper André Onana in the winning match of the third round of the UEFA Champions League against Copenhagen.
The Cameroonian goalkeeper saved a minimal victory for the Red Devils in the end of the meeting, fending off a penalty.
The Manchester Evening News quoted ten Hag as saying:
Andre has shown personality, he knows the levels, he has shown before what his skills are. He did not match his skills but I think Saturday was a very good performance and today as well. Also don't forget that one of his skills is that he is a very good penalty saver.
Earlier, ten Hag revealed that Jadon Sancho is still not allowed to participate in training sessions with the main squad.
A 1-0 win over Copenhagen allowed Manchester United to pick up their first three points in the current UEFA Champions League.
