According to Sky Sports, Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, currently playing for Al-Nassr, can wear the Real Madrid jersey once again.
Preliminary information suggests that the 40-year-old player is considering not renewing his contract with Al-Nassr, which expires at the end of the current season. Ronaldo's interest has to do with his desire to participate in the upcoming Club World Cup in 2025, for which his current team failed to qualify.
During the Club World Cup, which will take place from June 1 to June 10, FIFA will provide special transfer windows, allowing Ronaldo the opportunity to sign with any team only for the duration of the tournament. Earlier reports indicated interest from both Inter Miami and Al-Hilal in acquiring the forward's services.
This season, Ronaldo has scored 34 goals and provided 5 assists in 40 games for his club and national team.
