According to Telecomasia.net, Spanish club Sevilla aimed to loan Lokomotiv Moscow player Nair Tiknizyan for free until the end of the 2024/25 season.
Sevilla was only willing to consider buying Tiknizyan after the loan ended, with a transfer fee set at €5 million, to be paid by July 2027. This proposal did not satisfy Lokomotiv, which resulted in the offer being declined.
The news regarding Sevilla’s interest in Tiknizyan was first reported by the Telegram channel Offsideman. The source indicated that the Spanish club has been monitoring the Lokomotiv player for an extended period and had previously sent a proposal that did not meet the approval of Lokomotiv’s management. After the sale of Marcos Acuña to River Plate, Sevilla is once again exploring the possibility of acquiring Tiknizyan.
At 25 years old, Tiknizyan has been with Lokomotiv since 2021. The 2023/24 season has been his most productive to date, having scored six goals in the Russian Premier League (RPL). So far this season, he has played four matches and scored one goal in the RPL. Today, Sevilla’s press service provided commentary to Telecomasia.net regarding the potential transfer of Tiknizyan.
