Sevilla's press service has addressed reports regarding the potential transfer of Lokomotiv Moscow and Armenian national team defender Nair Tiknizyan.
A spokesperson commented on the transfer speculation surrounding Tiknizyan exclusively for Telecomasia.net:
No decision has yet been made regarding Tiknizyan at Sevilla. The club is considering a number of possible options.
Reports of Sevilla’s interest in Tiknizyan were initially shared by the Telegram channel Offsideman, which noted that the Spanish club has been tracking the Lokomotiv player for quite some time and had previously made an offer that Lokomotiv's management did not find satisfactory. Following Acuña's sale to River Plate, Sevilla is reassessing the situation regarding a potential transfer for Tiknizyan.
At 25 years old, Tiknizyan has been a part of Lokomotiv since 2021. This current season has seen him achieve his best career performance with six goals in the RPL. So far this season, he has participated in four matches and netted one goal in the RPL.
