Senegal defeated Qatar in the second round group stage match of the 2022 World Cup, which took place on November 25 and ended with a score of 3-1.
The score was opened in the 41st minute of the match. Senegal forward Boulaye Dia scored the first goal. In the 48th minute, forward Famara Dieudiou netted the second goal, strengthening the Qatari team's lead.
In the end of the game Qatar scored one goal. In the 78th minute, forward Mohammed Muntari got on the scoresheet. The result was sealed in the 84th minute. Forward Bamba Dieng got on the scoresheet. Senegal got their first win of the tournament, while Qatar suffered their second consecutive home World Cup defeat.
