Former footballer Samir Nasri believes that Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe should not leave the Parisian club and move to Real Madrid.
Le Figaro quotes Nasri as saying:
He is from the Paris region: I, in his place, I would stay at PSG, instead of going to Madrid, to win the fiftieth Champions League for Real. If Marseille had been owned by Qatar when I was at the club, I would never have left. I think it is better to be the king in your village.
He noted that without Mbappe the PSG squad will be weaker, but the Parisians will be able to recruit new players with their budget.
In the current season, the 24-year-old Frenchman played 13 matches for his club, scoring 12 goals and making one assist. His contract with the team will end in the summer of 2024.
Earlier Real Madrid denied rumors about negotiations with Mbappe. Also ex-footballer Robin van Persie called the forward one of the best footballers on the planet.
