Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić has called Chelsea's performance in the transfer market this winter unacceptable.
Recall that Chelsea acquired eight players for a total of 329.5 million euros in the winter transfer window.
It's crazy. These sums are unimaginable for us. Even if we have the opportunity to bring a top player to Germany, we first think about how we can refinance this expenditure. It would be almost unrealistic for Bayern to refinance more than 600 million euros. Yes, we cannot compete financially with clubs like Chelsea, but we can attract top players through our style of play, success, history and generally supportive environment.
