Manchester United has announced the formation of the coaching staff for newly appointed head coach Ruben Amorim. The staff will include five specialists who previously worked alongside Amorim at Lisbon's Sporting CP.
Carlos Fernandes, 29, will serve as the assistant coach, having held the same position under Amorim at Sporting. Jorge Vital will be in charge of goalkeeping, while Adelio Candido has been appointed head coach of the first team.
Emanuel Ferro will take on the role of first-team coach, having coached Amorim during his time at Benfica. Paulo Barreira, who has experience working with Arsenal and Liverpool, will oversee player fitness.
Meanwhile, first-team coaches Darren Fletcher and Andreas Georgson will retain their positions, along with goalkeeping assistant Craig Mawson.
The Red Devils currently sit in 13th place in the English Premier League (EPL), having accumulated 15 points from 11 matches.
