Cristiano Ronaldo, the 39-year-old forward for Saudi club Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team, is reportedly dissatisfied with the financial issues facing his club, according to Essentially Sports.

Sources indicate that the leadership of Al-Nassr sought funding from a local investment fund to strengthen the squad but was met with a refusal. It has been noted that the Portuguese striker is aware of the monetary crisis in the team and is unhappy about it. Ronaldo has even attempted multiple times to arrange a meeting with the club’s upper management, but those requests were declined.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in the winter of 2023, signing a contract until the summer of 2025. He has played a total of 66 matches for Al-Nassr across all competitions, scoring 61 goals and providing 16 assists.

Currently, Al-Nassr sits in eighth place in the Saudi Arabian Championship, with just one point after the first round of the new season.

Previously, reports surfaced that the club's management is requesting Ronaldo to remain silent about the team’s financial troubles.
