Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward for Al-Nassr, has commented on German midfielder Toni Kroos's choice to retire from football following his participation in Euro 2024.

Ronaldo said in a video on the YouTube channel Rio Ferdinand Presents:

It’s the way he sees it, we have to respect him. I respect his decision. He could play a few years more, but that’s his decision.

The 34-year-old Kroos retired this summer. In his club career, he played 754 matches, scored 73 goals, and provided 166 assists while playing for Madrid, Bayer, and Bayern. For Germany, Kroos appeared in 113 matches, scoring 17 goals and providing 21 assists, and was crowned World Champion in 2014.

Earlier, Ronaldo shared when he plans to retire, assuring fans that he does not intend to become a coach anytime soon.
