Portuguese striker and captain Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a unique milestone following Portugal's victory over Scotland (2-1) in the UEFA Nations League match last round.

The 39-year-old forward has scored against 48 national teams throughout his career, a record no other player has matched.

Ronaldo has scored the most goals against Luxembourg, hitting the net 11 times. He has also netted seven goals each against Sweden and Lithuania, making them among his “favorite” national teams to score against.

Ronaldo has represented the Portuguese national team since 2003, participating in 214 matches across various tournaments, where he has scored 132 goals and provided 45 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 15 million euros.

Portugal's next match will take place on October 12 against Poland, starting at 21:45 GMT+3.

Previously, the 39-year-old made history as the first player ever to score 900 goals in his professional career.

Additionally, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane admitted that he draws inspiration from players like Cristiano Ronaldo, who continues to perform at a high level at his age.
