Cristiano Ronaldo, the 39-year-old forward for Saudi club Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team, stated that he no longer strives to be the best player; he simply enjoys playing football.

Ronaldo's comments were shared by insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media platforms:

It is not important to me now to be the best player or to win awards. What is important to me now is to enjoy and help my team.

Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January 2023 and has since played 71 matches for the team, scoring 64 goals and providing 17 assists. His contract with the club is set to run through the end of June 2025.

Earlier, Marca reported that Ronaldo's business ventures are actively developing, and he is currently looking for new employees for his hotel located in Madrid.
