Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr expects Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo to arrive at the team's camp by the end of 2022.

On November 22, it became known that Ronaldo's contract with Manchester United was terminated by mutual agreement. Currently, the Portuguese remains in the status of a free agent. The media also reported that another EPL club, Arsenal, is interested in Ronaldo as they search for a replacement for the injured Gabriel Jesus.

According to Spanish publication Marca, the 37-year-old forward is expected to sign a contract until the summer of 2025. The contract offers the player €200 million every season. The Saudis see the potential signing of Ronaldo as a status move that will help them realize an ambitious project to bring sporting competitions to their country and host the 2030 World Cup.

At the 2022 World Cup, held in Qatar, the Portuguese national team with Ronaldo reached the quarterfinals, where they lost minimally to Morocco (0-1). The striker scored only one goal in five matches.
