At Euro 2024, Portugal national team forward Cristiano Ronaldo was caught offside more often than any other player. He was flagged offside eight times during the tournament.
The 39-year-old forward played five matches in the tournament but failed to score a goal. Nevertheless, he still remains the top scorer in the history of the tournament.
Currently, the second spot for the most offsides is shared by Niclas Fullkrug of Germany, Andraz Sporar of Slovenia, and Barnabas Varga of Hungary, each with four offsides.
Portugal reached the quarterfinals, where they lost to the France national team with a score of 0:0 (3:5 on penalties).
