Ronaldo Awarded for Most Wins with National Team by Guinness World Records

Cristiano Ronaldo, the 40-year-old forward for Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr and the Portugal national team, has made it into the Guinness World Records.

Before the UEFA Nations League quarter-final second leg against Denmark, Ronaldo received the Guinness World Records award for recording 132 wins in his international career, surpassing former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos.

The match ended with Portugal defeating Denmark 5-2 after extra time, with Ronaldo scoring a goal. In the first leg, Denmark celebrated a 1-0 victory.

Portugal will face Germany in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.

Ronaldo has represented the Portugal national team since 2003, playing in 219 matches across various tournaments, scoring 136 goals and providing 46 assists.

The 40-year-old forward won the UEFA Euro in 2016 and the UEFA Nations League in the 2018/19 season with the Portugal team.

Previously, Cristiano Ronaldo became the first footballer in history to score for his national team for 22 consecutive years.
