Ionel Parvu, head coach of the Romanian football club, put himself in the starting lineup of the team for the third division match of the Romanian championship against Viitorul (2:2) and scored a goal.
The 53-year-old managed to score already in the first minute of the match, having kicked the ball from outside the penalty area.
His team ended the game with a draw and managed to get the first point of the season. Before that, Brasov had lost nine consecutive matches with a total score of 2:36. It is noteworthy that the team finished in third place last season.
Parvu played as a midfielder during his playing career. He is a four-time champion of Romania. He also played in Russia, as part of Chernomorets club.
