Former AC Milan and Manchester City striker Robinho, who is serving a nine-year sentence for group rape, is taking a 600-hour course in basic electronics in a Brazilian prison.

This is reported by Marca with reference to The Sun. According to the source, this course is part of the correctional program aimed at teaching prisoners new skills that can help them after release. It is noted that at the end of the course Robinho will be able to repair televisions, radios and other household appliances.

"He has to do 600 hours of remote learning to qualify in this area. It's hard to say whether he's enjoying it or not, but it's helping to pass the time,"- said the lawyer of the footballer.

Recall that in 2017 Robinho was sentenced to nine years in prison for rape, committed in 2013 in a nightclub in Milan, when he played for the local team of the same name.

It was recently reported that the footballer has been transferred from solitary to a normal cell.
