World champion with the Brazilian national team and winner of Ballon d’Or 1999 Rivaldo has commented on the possible transfer of Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid.

Rivaldo said to AS:

I don't think either Rodrygo or Vinicius Jr. will be harmed by Mbappe's move to Real Madrid, I think the pressure is on Mbappe, who is going to arrive at a team that will surely win the Champions League, a title that Mbappe has never won.

On May 10th, Mbappe announced his departure from PSG. The 2018 World Cup champion played 308 matches with the Parisians, scoring 256 goals and providing 108 assists.

It is expected that starting from next season, the forward of the French national team will be playing for Real Madrid.

L'Equipe reported that Real Madrid plans to announce Mbappe's transfer on Monday, June 3rd.

PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has refused to pay the French forward €80 million in salary due to his move to the Spanish club.
