German footballer of Real Madrid Antonio Rüdiger topped the ranking of the best defenders in the world in the season-2023/2024 according to the online publication ESPN.
By the end of last season, 31-year-old Rüdiger took part in 48 matches across all tournaments, scored two goals and made three assists. Antonio became the champion of Spain and the winner of the UEFA Champions League-2023/2024 as part of los Blancos.
The Transfermarkt website estimates the value of the player at €25 million.
