According to reports from Relevo, Real Madrid have decided not to pursue the acquisition of Liverpool and England defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The right-back has celebrated victories in the Champions League, the Premier League, and several domestic cups with Liverpool. Transfermarkt estimates the 26-year-old player at €70 million.
It has been reported that the Real Madrid management sees no possibility of signing the Englishman in January 2025. Additionally, the club has opted not to sell midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni in the opposite direction.
There have also been suggestions that Xabi Alonso could take over as head coach of Real Madrid from Carlo Ancelotti next season. According to Marca, the club continues to support Kylian Mbappe amidst the player's concerns about his performance level.
