French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Sergio Rico has been transferred from the intensive care unit of a hospital in Seville to the general ward, according to the France Press agency.
Recall that the 29-year-old Spaniard was hospitalized on May 28. During his vacation in Seville, Rico fell off his horse, and the animal hit the athlete on the head. According to media reports, Rico was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage, and within five weeks, the Parisian goalkeeper was in intensive care.
The goalkeeper has been with the Red-and-Blues since 2020. He played a total of 24 matches in Ligue 1 and the French Cup.
