South African and African serial winner and coach Pitso John Mosimane has once again delivered on his mandate of leading his Saudi Arabian club, Ah Ahli to the Pro League next season after a last-minute gasp winner last night.
Mosimane, roped in at the start of the season to lead the Saudi Arabian giants back to the professional league, won their match 2-1 yesterday evening with a 97th minute winner against Hajer Club, leading his charges to sixty-five points on the table with only four matches left to play.
The South African mentor has collected sixteen wins, six draws and only two defeats in twenty-four matches that he has coached the club. Ah Ahli Club are now playing to win the first division outrightly and will be hoping that their nearest chasers, Al Faisaly, who play on Friday, drop points against sixteenth-placed Najran SC.
Mosimane is one of the most decorated football coaches on the African continent having won two CAF Champions League titles with giants Ah Ahly of Egypt, two Egyptian league titles, one CAF title with Mamelodi Sundowns and five league titles with the South African club.
