Croatian striker Ivan Perišić commented on the result of the match against Brazil in the quarterfinal stage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
We are really enjoying some beautiful days. We just have to keep going. We have to forget about this match as soon as possible, even though we've beaten probably the best team in the tournament.

On December 9, Brazil lost to Croatia in the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Qatar. The main time of the meeting ended in a draw - 0-0. In the extra 30 minutes the teams hit each other's nets once. Neymar scored for Brazil, while Bruno Petković scored for Croatia.
In the penalty shootout the Croats were stronger - 4-2. In the semifinals Zlatko Dalić's team will play with the winner of Argentina - the Netherlands. Brazil's head coach Tite announced his resignation after the match.
