According to Gazetaesportiva, Brazil national team and Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal striker Neymar has entered the final phase of his rehabilitation from a knee injury.
According to a physiotherapist, the 32-year-old winger is recovering much faster than expected. However, Neymar's participation in the Seleçao squad for the upcoming Copa America 2024, which will be held in the United States from June 20 to July 14, is still uncertain.
Neymar has not played since October 2023 due to a torn cruciate ligament and meniscus of the left knee. On February 15, it became known that the forward returned to training with the club. The national team doctor reported the recovery time in August at the earliest.
In the season-2023/2024 Neymar played in three meetings of the Pro League, making three assists, as well as in two matches of the AFC Champions League (one goal). The Brazilian's contract with Al Hilal is until the end of June 2025. The market value of Neymar, according to Transfermarkt, is €45 million.
