Brazilian forward Neymar of Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal has topped the list of the most expensive players by total transfer fees, as reported by reputable website Transfermarkt.
His total transfer fees amount to 400 million euros. In second place is Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea with 339 million euros. Rounding out the top three is forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr.
Neymar began his career with Brazilian club Santos before moving to Barcelona and then PSG. From the French club, he made his transfer to Saudi's Al Hilal.
