Al Hilal striker Neymar does not plan to extend his contract with the Saudi Arabian club, according to Fichajes. The 32-year-old Brazilian footballer is expected to return to Santos as a free agent in the summer of 2025.
His contract with Al Hilal is set to expire on June 30, 2025. Neymar joined the Saudi club in the summer of 2023 from PSG for €90 million, but due to injury, he has played only five matches, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
The head coach of the Saudi club, Jorge Jesus, recently stated that a precise timeline for Neymar's recovery cannot yet be predicted. However, media reports suggest that he will not play in the national championship in 2024.
Neymar is a product of Santos, where he played until 2013. During his time with the club, he made 225 appearances, scoring 136 goals and providing 64 assists.
