Reigning Italian champions Napoli have released a statement regarding the situation with the scandalous TikTok post, noting that the club did not intend to insult or ridicule striker Victor Osimhen.
A statement from the club reads:
On social media, and TikTok particularly, expressive language is used in a light-hearted and playful manner. In this case involving Victor there was no intention of mockery or derision. If Victor was in any way offended, this was not at all in the club's intentions.
Recall, the press service of Napoli mocked the miss of the top scorer of Serie A last season Victor Osimhen from the 11-meter line. In response, the 24-year-old Nigerian deleted all the photos related to the club on his social networks and announced his intention to appeal to the court.
